Residents Against Data Centers!

Save Carbon County will hold a meeting to organize volunteers concerning the Lower Towamensing data center proposal. The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 1st at 6PM in the Palmerton Library, Gallery Room to organize leafleting to get the word out about the upcoming public hearing and to organize speakers for the public hearing. The October 1st meeting is NOT a public hearing to voice opposition to the data center proposal. It is an opportunity to organize the community, schedule actions, and identify speakers for the public hearing. The public hearing where you can voice your concerns has been scheduled by the Lower Towamensing Board of Supervisors for 6PM Tuesday, October 27th at the Aquaschicola Fire Department, 270 Little Gap Road, Palmerton. Everyone should plan to attend the public hearing. It is IMPORTANT. Please check the website at lowertowamensing.org prior to the meeting to make sure the township has not changed the date or location. They can do that prior to it being posted in the newspaper legal ads.
